Drawings of psychiatric patients

The archive of the Museum contains hundreds of drawings made by inmates in asylums, Italian and foreign, which Cesare Lombroso collects as evidence of the artistic activity of these psychiatric patients.

Today such drawings are considered works of Art Burt, an unconventional art made by people without a particular artistic training.
